The SVMPO has one full time Director: Karen L. Lamberton, AICP. She came to the SVMPO in September of 2018 with an educational background that included undergraduate degrees in paralegal studies, environmental education and political science. She received her Master’s degree in Planning from the University of Arizona in May of 1999. Ms. Lamberton has over 30 years of experience in the field of transportation planning working for the Pima Association of Governments and, most recently, as Cochise County’s Transportation Planner.

The SVMPO staff include part-time staff providing support for engineering and project management services:

Dennis Donovan, P.E., has been with the SVMPO for four years and brings a background of private sector hydrology and engineering expertise to managing regional projects providing drainage and roadway improvements.

Caterina Porter is in her senior year studying engineering and project management with BYU-I and is proving the MPO with assistance in transit planning, Work Program activity project management and development of this agencies Standard Operating Procedures.
