The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is the Sierra Vista Metropolitan Planning Organization’s (SVMPO) short-range program of federally funded and regionally significant transportation projects scheduled for implementation over a four-year period. The TIP identifies projects that are expected to receive federal transportation funding, including roadway, transit, bicycle, pedestrian, safety, and transportation enhancement projects. Developed in cooperation with local member agencies, ADOT, transit providers, and the public, the TIP helps ensure transportation investments are fiscally constrained, address regional priorities, and comply with federal transportation planning requirements. The TIP is updated annually and may be amended throughout the year as projects, funding, or schedules change.
